Storm Volleyball 2026-27 Club Tryouts
What to expect and what to bring to Storm Volleyball Tryouts
​
Please arrive 40-45 minutes before your tryout time to get ​
checked in. If you know you'll be coming to tryouts please use the pre-registration form below to get pre-registered.
This will help us expedite the check in process and will
save you the time of filling out paperwork at tryouts.
Please bring the following with you to tryouts:
Copy of Birth Certificate
(Birth Certificate not needed if you played for Storm before)
$25 tryout fee (this can be paid when you pre-register)
Volleyball attire to tryout
$600 deposit (once you accept team offer)

Warmups for the session will begin a couple of minutes before the tryout time.
Parents are welcome to stay for tryouts ( we ask that you use the bleacher side to sit--please no parents inside the knee wall or on the back side of the courts during tryouts.
​
We will have tryouts complete and financial agreements ready to sign 85-90 minutes after tryouts begin. Parents should be in the gym within 60 minutes of tryouts beginning.

Our goal with everything Storm Volleyball does is to be transparent and upfront. Hence we have included here on this page our dues detailed in how they will be paid. A copy of our financial agreement is available for your review.

Dues include: Same uniform package for each team, all coaches
pay, all court practice time and tournament entrance fees, including referees fees charged by the region.
For specifics as to what each team will compete in and practice
please see the section on this page.
Dues do not include: Each player will need to register to become
a member of USA Volleyball (approx $72) and the Centennial State Series-AAU Volleyball ($22). Registration for the 2 governing
bodies is not included in the dues. Hotel expenses for players and parents for any local (Colorado Front Range) tournaments.
Storm does not require families to have hotels for local play.
**** National Teams****
​The following teams plan to play in at least 1 out State qualifier tournament during the season. An addendum to the Storm Financial Agreement will be added for these teams.
Expected cost per player is $1400-1500 (billed at $300/mo for 5 months)
This will include at players airline travel, hotels, ground transportation and parking from airport to hotels and playing venue, coaches pay for the weekend and of course the cost to
enter and play in the tournament.

Storm Volleyball Team Plans for the 2026-2027 Season

All Storm teams will practice 2 times per week.​

RMR Power Tournaments--These are 1 day tournaments that take
place on Sundays and occur along the front range of Colorado
AAU-Centennial State Series--1 day tournaments that take place on Saturdays in Colorado Springs or Denver
RMR Classic--2 day tournament on a Sat and Sun. Takes place along the front range here in Colorado.
Crossroads---3 day tournament on a weekend that takes place at the Denver Convention Center. Big tournament.
Casper Tournament---This tournament obviously takes place in Casper Wyoming. It is a 2 day tournament. Sat and Sun.
End of Year Regionals (EOYR)---This is a 3 day end of season tournament that takes place at the National Western Event Center in Denver.
